Frequently Asked Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as our sails often sell out. While reservations aren’t required, they’re the best way to secure your spot on your preferred day — walk-ups are welcome but not guaranteed!

Can I make a reservation and pay when I get there?

You may, but without payment in advance unpaid reservations may be bumped for paid reservations

What wildlife can we expect to see?

Dolphins are commonly seen on our tours, along with manatees and a variety of coastal birdlife. While sightings aren’t guaranteed, our small-group approach allows for better viewing opportunities.

How long are the tours?

Most tours are 2 hours, while our Sail & Splash private charter is 3 hours (May–August only).

Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes — all ages are welcome. Our calm-water sailing and small group sizes make this a great experience for families.

Can we see rocket launches from the tour?

On select dates, guests may be able to view live rocket launches from the water.

What should we bring on our tour?

We recommend bringing:

Sunscreen

Sunglasses

Hat

Camera or phone for photos

Light jacket for evening tours

Food and beverage policies may vary by tour—please check your booking confirmation for details.

Is the tour safe?

Yes. Safety is our top priority. All vessels are equipped with required safety gear and operated by experienced captains who follow safe boating practices and responsible wildlife viewing guidelines.

Do you offer private tours?

Yes — all of our experiences are available as private charters. This is the best option if you want the entire boat for your group.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll help you reschedule or provide a full refund. We keep it flexible so you can book with confidence.

How do I book a tour?

Tours can be booked online in advance. We recommend booking early during peak seasons, holidays, weekends, and during bioluminescence season.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer the Space Coast's only No Worries, No Waves Cancellation Policy!

Is this an eco-friendly experience?

Yes. Cocoa Beach Catamaran follows eco-conscious practices and responsible wildlife viewing guidelines to help protect local ecosystems and marine life.
